The Couple Behind Couples Couch

The Couples Couch is guided by the expertise of Derrick Barbour, a Certified Life Coach, and Sherry H Barbour, IMFT-S, a dedicated couple with a profound commitment to relationship therapy. With 25 years of marriage under our belt, we endeavor to guide others through the depths of relationship challenges, whether you find yourself navigating turbulent waters or merely wading through shallower difficulties. Our dedication stems not only from numerous professional trainings and seminars but also from the ebbs and flows within our own marriage—experiences that resonate with many of you. Consider us as your designers or architects, assisting you in crafting the marriage you aspire to have. Yet, just like any profession, your active involvement is essential. We equip you with the tools for mending, but the effort must come from you. Our role is to support and offer timely guidance in moments of crisis. Always bear in mind that to succeed, you must strive to overcome obstacles with determination and commitment. Click below to learn more about your architects.
